The art of Bohemian glassmaking

For centuries, Bohemian handmade glass has been celebrated for its quality, craftsmanship, and artistic beauty. Dating back to the 13th century, this tradition has been passed down through generations, making Bohemia a world-renowned center for glassmaking. Today, Czech artisans continue this legacy, combining time-honored techniques with modern innovations to create glass that is both exquisite and enduring.

How we craft our glass

Every piece of our glassware begins with raw materials melted at extreme temperatures—up to 1300°C. Skilled artisans then shape the molten glass using traditional mouth-blowing techniques, followed by meticulous refinement processes such as cutting, engraving, painting, and gilding. This dedication ensures that no two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each creation a testament to craftsmanship and individuality.

What Makes Our Glass Unique?

Charm Bubbles

Tiny air bubbles, which naturally form during the layering process, are a signature of handmade glass. Rather than flaws, we see them as part of the glass’s unique charm—proof of its artisanal origin and craftsmanship.

Natural Colors

We take pride in our carefully developed colors, achieved using natural minerals. Cobalt oxide produces deep blues, iron creates earthy greens and browns, and gold chloride gives soft pinks and rich ruby tones. Each shade is a tribute to both nature and tradition.

Lead-Free & Sustainable

Our glass is completely lead-free, making it both environmentally friendly and safe for everyday use. In select collections, such as "Lyon" and "Limoux, " we use barium to enhance durability and brilliance while maintaining the purity of the glass. Caring for Your Glass

Quality & Durability

Our glass undergoes slow cooling to prevent internal tension and ensure lasting durability. While handmade glass is delicate by nature, proper care helps preserve its beauty for years to come. If a flaw occurs during production, making a piece fragile, we will gladly replace it.
